Kierulf Raboy from Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat advances to the Mindanao Finals of GMA-7's talent search Bet ng Bayan after winning in the Southern Mindanao Regional Showdown held in General Santos City on Friday, November 21, 2014.
The star-studded event held at the Oval Plaza was hosted by the Asia's Songbird herself Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Kapuso heartthrob Alden Richards.

With his looks and powerful voice,
Kierulf Raboy awed not just the spectators but also the judges composed of "Asia's Queen of Soul" Jaya Ramsey, song writer Louie Ocampo, and singer-composer Wency Cornejo with ten other jurors from all over Southern Mindanao. He was declared as Bet ng Southern Mindanao sa Kantahan after defeating Marife Villacorta of Tagum City.

Other winners of Bet ng Bayan Southern Mindanao Regional Showdown include the dance dou from Panabo City called
D' Gemini which won over The Experience Kidz of General Santos City in the Bet sa Sayawan category and a fire dancer from Davao City won over MJ Lastik from Polomolok, South Cotabato who also amazed the audience with his contortion skills in the Bet sa Kakaibang Talento category.
The taped Bet ng Bayan Southern Mindanao Regional Showdown episode will be telecast nationwide at GMA-7 on November 30 after Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.
