The whole country's excited for Aliwan Fiesta 2013!
Dubbed as "The Philippines Grandest Fiesta" and "The Festival of Champions", Aliwan Fiesta 2013 will once again gather different cultural festivals in the country represented by the best in their regions or provinces to compete in street dancing competition, float parade and the beauty pageant (Reyna ng Aliwan 2013).
Last year, two contingents from South Cotabato participated in Aliwan Fiesta Street Dancing competition both landed in the Top 5. Lembohung Festival from Surallah represented by Purok Sison Elementary School finished at 5th Place and the T'nalak Festival of South Cotabato represented by Notre Dame of Sto.Niño landed in the 4th Place out of 21 contingents from all over the country.

Also last year, Quennie Rose Bautista who represented Surallah's Lembohung Festival in the Search for Aliwan Fiesta Festival Queen bagged the 1st Runner-up. She also won the Reyna ng Aliwan Best in Evening Gown Award.
This year, Aliwan Fiesta 2013 is slated April 11-13. With the PasaKalye: Inter School Dance Competition happening on April 11, the Reyna ng Aliwan Pageant Night on April 12, and the much awaited Aliwan Fiesta Street Dance and Float Parade competition, Reyna ng Aliwan Coronation and Awarding Ceremony on April 13.
