Woman from Polomolok, South Cotabato allegedly gives birth to snake

A report by Bombo Radyo Koronadal published on its official Facebook page regarding a woman who allegedly gave birth to a snake has caught the attention of netizens and has become viral.

Woman from Polomolok, South Cotabato allegedly gave birth to a snakeThe report which claims that a 37-year-old married woman from Polomolok, South Cotabato has given birth to a 2-foot long snake has already garnered 15,000+ Likes and 21,000+ Shares as of press time.

Based on the report, the woman whose name was withheld for privacy reasons, at first had experienced morning sickness, loss of appetite and unbearable stomach pains. She went to hospital for pregnancy test and it came out positive, but the ultrasound scan showed the image of a long-shaped object instead of a normal fetus. She was then taken to faith healers and undergone "treatment" for almost a month until she reportedly gave birth to a creature similar to a snake on Tuesday, February 16 in front of her parents, relatives and several witnesses. 

Although the snake was still alive when the woman gave birth to it, it was later killed by the woman's mother using a sharpened bamboo and was burned.
