Now on its 2nd year, the Tacurong Bird Festival once again attracted hundreds of tourists to visit Baras Bird Sanctuary in Brgy. Baras, City of Tacurong, home to more than 20,000 endemic and migratory birds and one of the most-visited tourist destinations in SOCCSKSARGEN Region or SOX.
Aside from bird watching, tourists also enjoyed different activities of the 2-day event held on May 28-29. These include Face Painting, Origami-making, Bottle Recycling, Ball Cap Making, Key Holder/Ref Magnet Painting and the Bird Costume Contest.
