The 20-year old beauty from the Municipality of Lebak and reigning Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat 2016 was recently crowned Mutya ng PRISAA 2017.
PRISAA or Private Schools Athletic Association is an association of private schools, Christian schools, and home school athletic departments throughout the Philippines.
Sharifa, who represented SOCCSKSARGEN, bested the other 12 candidates who represented their respective regions.
She also bagged other awards including Best in National Costume, Best in Sports Attire and Miss Friendship.
The pageant night of Mutya ng PRISAA 2017 was held in Iba, Zambales on April 27.
