Is Western Union branches in the Philippines open on Holy Week?
This is my question awhile ago, and I am surprised that there is no specific answer when I searched regarding my query.. so I contacted Western Union and here's now their answer to whether Western Union branches in the Philippines are open on days of theHoly Week(Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday and Easter Sunday).
Western Union agent location in the Philippines will be closed on the following dates:
March 28-MAUNDY THURSDAY
March 29-GOOD FRIDAY
March 30-BLACK SATURDAY
This is because those days are considered National Holidays.
Western Union agent locations closed on Maundy Thursday, March 28, 2013.
Western Union agent locations are closed on Good Friday, March 29, 2013.
Western Union agent locations are closed on Black Saturday, March 30, 2013.
Western Union's service will be back to normal on April 1, 2013.
