Vice Mayor Antonio Bendita won the mayoral seat in Surallah, South Cotabato against his closest rival Maria Edna Solivio wife of former Surallah Mayor Romulo Solivio Sr who ran for provincial board member.
Bendita's running mate, Pinky Divinagracia also won the vice mayoral seat via a landslide victory against her opponent Councilor Taruc Regalado. Bendita and Divinagracia run under the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC). They were proclaimed yesterday as the newly elected of officials of Surallah together with the eight municipal councilors which is composed of five (5) candidates from NPC and three (3) from the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).
