SarBay Fest 2014 Photo Contest Winners

Winners of the SarBay Fest 2014 Online Photo Contest sponsored by the Department of Tourism- 12 (DOT-12) have finally been selected.

Hearty congratulations to all the winners and BIG thank you to all those who have entered the contest. We received an overwhelming response of over 100 entries  for this contest which have two (2) categories, each being nothing short of spectacular! The images depicts the fun of the highly successful Sarangani Bay Festival 2014 that was held last May 16-17 in Gumasa, Glan and shows some of the wonderful attractions in Sarangani.
We would like also to extend a special thanks to our panel of three eminent judges for all the time they have put in to helping choose the best images, they are:

Ruel Ambat | Koronadal City
- A freelance multimedia designer, experienced in audio-visual promotions production. Recent works include audio-visual promotional materials for the City of Koronadal, photography services for the Lakambini ng Koronadal 2014 pageant and co-designer for stage production, researcher and scriptwriter of the historical stage presentations of some LGUs in the Province of South Cotabato. He owns RMAmbat Creative Solutions.

Ebden Skynyrd Tanco-Serofia | New York, USA
- Born and raised in T'boli, South Cotabato, he is into photography and is currently enrolled in the prestigious New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) in New York, USA.

Jaylyn Montiague Tan | Singapore
- A photographer and a traveler by heart, Jaylyn was one of the 120,00o+ who experienced Sarbay Fest 2014. She is currently working in Singapore as a professional Nurse. She love to travel and take photos to capture the amazing beauty of places she visits, the people, lifestyle, and culture. She also do engagement/pre-nup photo shoots and other events.
We have selected a total of 11 winners for this contest, 5 in each category and one winner of the "Most Popular Photo" Award which was selected for having the most number of votes in our Facebook Page. The following are the prizes:

1st Prize- P5,000 cash + certificate
2nd Prize - P3,000 cash + certificate
3rd Prize - P2,000 cash + certificate
4th Prize- P1,000 cash + certificate
5th Prize - P1,000 cash + certificate
