Cotabato City is all set for the celebration of the 55th Araw ng Cotabato from June 12-20, 2014 with the theme "Sigay Ka! Cotabato. Journeying toward greatness."

To begin on Independence Day (June 12), the week-long celebration will be highlighted by different activities prepared by the City Government of Cotabato which will showcase the city's rich culture and heritage as well as the competitiveness of it's people.
These includes traditional games and sports activities, beauty pageant, cultural presentations, cooking contest and photo competition, civic-military parade and kasalang bayan, among others. Highlights of Araw ng Cotabato 2014 will be on June 19-20 with the people's parade, street dancing and creative cultural dance competition.
