The cities of Koronadal and Iloilo are now sister cities.
This was after Koronadal City Mayor Peter B. Miguel and Iloilo City Mayor Patrick Jed Mabilog formally forged the sisterhood agreement on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.
The signing of the sisterhood agreement was witnessed by local officials and thousands of residents gathered at the Rizal Park for the culmination of the 4th Negosyo Festival and the celebration of the 14th Charter Anniversary of Koronadal.
With the signing of the sisterhood agreement, both LGU's could now exchange ideas and best practices in different fields such as in culture and arts, tourism, commerce and industry, and sports development among others.
