Just a month after the highly successful and colorful centennial celebration of the Municipality of Glan, another big event is about to take place in the Province of Sarangani, the Munato Festival 2014.
A cultural celebration commemorating the "first people" of Sarangani, Munato Festival is the next biggest annual event in the province after Sarbay Fest or Sarangani Bay Festival held every month of May. Activities that promotes Sarangani's best destinations, products, sports, culture and arts highlights the week-long celebration.

According to updates from its Facebook page, Munato Festival will offer a whole new festival experience this year. It will showcase the Munato Yesterland theme park with atleast 12 amazing attractions. There, people - children and adults can learn about the discovery of the oldest civilization dated 500 BC in a recreated, manmade cave, meet the Lumads and learn about their colorful culture, stop by Sarangani's wildlife museum, revisit the history of the region's oldest town, dine in and relish Sarangani's delicious dishes, and shop for Sarangani's native and innovative products, among others.
