The pride of Tacurong City and Sultan Kudarat Province Kierulf King Raboy made it to the grand finals of GMA-7's "Bet ng Bayan". This was after the former Popstar Kids Season 2 Grand Champion bested Northern Mindanao's "bet sa kantahan" Sherwin Baguion with his soulful rendition of "Hallelujah" during the Bet ng Bayan Mindanao Semi-finals staged in Tagum City last December 3 and was aired on Sunday, December 21, 2014.

Hosted by the Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and hearthrob Alden Richards, the star-studded GMA Bet ng Bayan Mindanao Semi-finals also featured singing celebrity Kuh Ledesma, ace composer Louie Ocampo and TV host/actress Iya Villania as judges of the talent competition.
During the event, spectators at the New City Hall of Tagum City were treated to a full entertainment show which featured various talents from Mindanao in three categories to include kantahan (singing), sayawan (dancing), and kakaibang-talento (unique talent).
Keirulf will be representing Mindanao in the Bet ng Bayan Grand Finals to be held on December 28 at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. He will be competing against three (3) other grand finalists from Luzon, Visayas and Mega Manila.
In the dancing category (bet sa sayawan), D' Gemini, the dance dou composed of identical twins Kakai and Mamai from Panabo City impressed the audience and the judges with their dance moves sweeping the semi-final slot against the Black Sheep Crew of Iligan City. Meanwhile, Jomar Abjelina from Davao City showcased unique and never before seen fire dancing skills to win against John Carlo Moneral who performed beatboxing in the Kakaibang Talento Category.
