The very first grand winner of Your Face Sounds Familiar on ABS- CBN have been revealed!
And it's no other than the talented comedienne Melai Cantiveros.
Melai who hails from Brgy. Calumpang in General Santos City performed Miley Cyrus' hit song "Wrecking Ball" during the grand finals of Your Face Sounds Familiar at the Performing Arts Theater of ResortsWorld Manila in Pasay City on Saturday, June 6.
She won the competition and the 2 million pesos grand prize (half of it will be donated to her chosen charity, the Alay Kapwa Desk and Social Action Center of the Diocese of Marbel) after garnering 51.9 percent of the total text votes.
Melai Cantiveros bested other Your Face Sounds Familiar finalists namely Nyoy Volante who settled at second place, Jay-R and Edgar Allan Guzman who placed third and fourth,
respectively.
