Organizers of the first-ever SOX PH Regional Photography Competition dubbed Best of SOX Photo Contest has finally revealed the full list of winners on Friday, October 14.
Aimed at showcasing the bests of SOX or SOCCSKSARGEN like its tourists attractions, rich culture, fun activities and adventures, etc. to the world through pictures, the competition run from September- October 2016. It has gathered more than a hundred photos and was participated by a total of 35 photographers from all over the region who submitted their best shots in the competition's 3 categories, namely: Landscape, Culture and Adventures.
The board of judges for the Best of SOX Photo Contest 2016 include some of the country's top and multi-awarded travel bloggers and professional photographers. They are Olan Emboscado of the Travel Teller; Ida Nanette Damu, Mindanao editor of Choose Philippines; and Rolan Garcia, freelance photojournalist and photo contributor for Department of Tourism.
Aside from winners in each category, the top 3 photographers whose three entries garnered the highest total ratings were named SOX PH's Top 3 Photographers for 2016. Below is the full list of winners of the BEST of SOX Photo Contest 2016:
